Possible Psoriasis Unusual Presentation
Here is the link to Web MD and all of the treatments for psoriasis.
I have very dry itchy skin on the tops of my toes. Once the itching stops the skin turns dark and cracks open at the creases and I can peel it off in lg. chunks. Very embarassing. Comes and goes a couple times a tear. My feet look dirty. My knees are very dry and turn dark as well. I have very sensitive skin so I only use unscented soaps and mild detergents . I don't have itching between my toes but my heels do get very dry and crack open. Can you help?
Dear Anonymous, if you can send any photos to drblakeshealingsole@gmail.com I will look at and show to the other docs in my practice. My podiatry partner, Dr Jane Denton, is married to a dermatologist. Many times you need a biopsy of the skin and soft tissue to get a full analysis. Consider seeing a podiatrist or dermatologist for this. But, I would be happy to look at some photos if you send them. Dr Rich Blake
I agree with you that "Many times you need a biopsy of the skin and soft tissue to get a full analysis. Consider seeing a podiatrist or dermatologist for this." Homepage
