Achilles Tendon Injuries are very common. This is a wonderful video to help work out the muscle tension in the soleus muscle just above the tendon itself. There are many versions with massage sticks, foam rollers, and tennis balls, so please feel free to experiment. I personally like the wine bottle with warm water roll to get heat into the tissues while you massage, then an ice pack for 10 minutes after if you have mucho inflammatio!!
