Tarsal Tunnel Syndrome and Asthma

This article shows the complex relationships within our bodies. Here a chronic issue like asthma has been linked to a neurological condition. We really do it know what it means except that there are inter-relationships among disease processes.

  1. Fascinating. I am a physician and have never seen anything like this.. I wonder if the central sensitization pathway can go the other way (I imagine it can): I have had bilateral tarsal tunnel symptoms for the last 2.5 years and recently developed asthma at the age of 37.

    1. I believe it can. Have you had nerve conduction tests that were normal? Rich

    2. I didn't have nerve conduction studies. It was felt it would not change management. There are a few coexisting issues. I live locally and would love to hear your opinion; I scheduled an appt in January.
