This protocol was sent from a nice lady that could send me her MRI images clearly. Thank you for sharing the steps with us.
Hi Dr. Blake,
Here are the steps to send MRI Images from a CD through WeTransfer:
- Load the disk into your computer and open it.
- Select ALL the files on the disk, then right click and select "Copy".
- Create a new folder on your Desktop titled "MRI Disk".
- Open the folder. Inside the folder window, right-click, and select "Paste". All the files should now be inside the folder.
- Close the folder. Right-click on the folder on your desktop then point to "Send to" and select "Compressed (zipped) folder". (On a Mac, right-click and choose "Compress".) This will create a compressed .zip file.
- Go to www.wetransfer.com and click the "Take me to Free" button.
- Click the blue plus sign inside the window on the left to add your .zip file.
- You can choose to e-mail the .zip file to a recipient or create a link to the file. To e-mail, simply enter the recipient's e-mail and your e-mail in the corresponding fields. To create a link to the file, click the blue ellipses inside the circle at the bottom of the window and select the button next to "link".
- Click "Transfer" and you're done!
Hope this is helpful! :)
