Working your way through the Phases of Rehabilitation

Today spend a short time looking at this video on the 3 phases of rehabilitation. As you work through an injury, the Immobilization Phase requires you to get the pain down to the good pain level of 0-2. And as you increase your activity, the long forgotten phase 2 ReStrengthening can be vital in preventing relapses and chronicity. Restrengthening actually should begin as soon as possible for the time the injury occurs. Return to Activity should be with some testing for general walking and running, and some sport specific drills (see the discussion presented in the last video).
